Bread Acquisition Logistics

Dark tactical board titled Operation Panis, showing five stone tablets labeled I-V with bread icons and gold trim.
The acquisition of baked goods follows principles nearly identical to wartime supply logistics. Civilian authorities continue to classify the resemblance as coincidental.

Phase I – Reconnaissance

The operational area is surveyed from a safe distance. Fresh stock is rarely visible. This is considered encouraging.

Phase II – Supply Route

A shopping basket is obtained.

Failure to secure one at this stage significantly reduces operational flexibility and increases dependence on arm strength.

Neither outcome is considered desirable by the Department of Civilian Mobility.

Phase III – Enemy Activity

Movement near the bakery section becomes unpredictable.

Individuals previously exhibiting no strategic intent develop remarkable territorial awareness within approximately three metres of fresh bread.

Studies continue.

Phase IV – Resource Allocation

The final loaf is identified simultaneously by four independent observers.

Diplomatic solutions have historically produced inconsistent results.

Phase V – Tactical Withdrawal

Alternative bread products are accepted.

Official reports classify this as a successful operation.

Participants generally disagree.
